LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the preliminary budget for the Town of Arcadia, Wayne County, New York for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk of said Town at 201 Frey Street, Newark, New York where it is available for inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours. Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board Of the Town of Arcadia will meet and review said Preliminary budget and hold a public hearing thereon at 12:00 PM on the 26th day of October 2026 at the Arcadia Town Hall, 201 Frey Street, Newark, New York and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor or against the preliminary budget as compiled, or for or against any item or items therein contained. And further notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, that the following are proposed yearly salaries of the Town Officers of this town: Supervisor: $30,877.00 Councilpersons (4) at $7,159.00 Each, equaling $28,636.00, Town Clerk: $59,583.00, Receiver of Taxes, $3,000.00, Highway Supt., $92,466.00.

 

A Special Town Board Meeting will be held following the Public Hearing where the Board will also hear, consider and act upon any matter, which may be brought to the Board in the same manner and to the same effect as if the Board was convened in regular session.
